Fitting a Chain Tidy

Step 1
Remove the cover from your chain tidy.

Step 2
Position the base of the chain tidy against the inside of your window frame (for inside mounted blinds), or against the wall (for outside mounted blinds). Place the bottom of the chain just under the sliding lug. Note: Outside mounted blinds will have a figure 8 configuration to the chain when used with the chain tidy.

Step 3
Screw the base into position.

Step 4
Slide the lug down to take up the slack in the chain, this should not be too tight.

Step 5
Finally, replace the cover, clipping it into place onto the base of the chain tidy.
