Curtain Cleaning Instructions

Note: The following instructions are general instructions that apply to many of the thermal backed and lined readymade curtains sold by Harvey Furnishings. Where available, the specific care instructions for your curtains must always be followed in the first instance.

Thermal Backed Curtains

• Remove hooks, rings and trims before cleaning
• Either gently vacuum with appropriate attachment or cold hand wash
• Do not soak, bleach, rub, wring or tumble dry
• Do not use pegs or fold over clothesline
• For best results hang curtains by their hooks to dry in shade, coated sides not touching
• Warm iron on fabric side only
• There may be possible shrinkage up to 5%.

Lined Curtains

• Drycleaning is recommended P30
• Remove hooks
• Lukewarm handwash
• Do not bleach
• Do not soak, wring or tumble dry
• Do not use pegs
• Warm iron
• There may be possible shrinkage up to 5%.
