A custom made roller blind is a blind that rolls up to the top of your window or door. This is controlled by a pull chain at one end of the blind. Our range of custom made roller blinds is suitable for most window types and can be installed either inside the frame or outside the frame. These blinds come with an installation kit containing brackets, screws and fitting instructions or one of our professional installers will fit them for you.

Single or Double Roller Blinds

Custom made roller blinds are available on their own or as a double combination.

Single Roller Blinds
Custom made single roller blinds can be used on their own and made using either a sunscreen fabric, light filter fabric or a blockout fabric. We offer a wide range of stylish fabrics, colours and textures, which are co-ordinated with a range of bottom rails. Our bottom rails come in a range fashion colours and 3 styles - round, oval or square. A single roller blind looks stylish on its own or layered behind curtains.

Double Roller Blinds
Custom made double roller blinds are used where a combination of sunscreen – light filter and blockout fabrics are required. The bracket supporting the blind is deeper to accommodate both roller blinds. There will be two chain controls – one for the front blind and one for the rear blind. Both chain controls can be set at one end or separated at either end of the blind for easier operation. Double Roller blinds are ideal for contemporary homes using larger areas of glass, where clean lines and un-obstructed views are important, or for those with limited space, where curtains may not be suitable.

Roller Blind Fabrics

Our roller blind fabric ranges are available in a wide range of fabrics, colours and textures, which are then co-ordinated with a range of stylish bottom rails. Our bottom rails come in a range fashion colours and 3 styles - round, oval or rectangular.
For those who are environmentally conscious, we have some roller blind fabrics ranges designed to reduce harsh UV rays and provide insulation for your home. Good insulation helps to keep your home warm in winter and cool in summer.

Sunscreen Roller Blind Fabrics
Sunscreen fabrics are light filtering. These are a popular option and are available in a range of different degrees of light filtering –usually 3% or 5% (Openness factor). Sunscreen fabrics have a fine weave in the fabric and the small holes between the threads in the weave allow the light into the room. The size of the holes will determine the amount of light to filter into your room. Ideal for blocking out heat and UV rays, they also provide partial privacy. During the day you have some visibility to the outside, but people won’t see inside. However at night with the lights on you will see a silhouette. Sunscreen fabrics come in a wide range of fabrics which can be used for a single roller blind or co-ordinated with a blockout fabric in a double roller blind application. Light Filter Roller Blind Fabrics
Light filter fabrics differ from a sunscreen in that they are a ‘translucent’ material. They allow natural light to enter a room giving you a soft filtered light effect while providing good levels of privacy during the day time. At night with the lights on you will see a silhouette. Light filter fabrics come in a wide range of fabrics and colours which can be used for a single roller blind or co-ordinated with a blockout fabric in a double roller blind application. Blockout Roller Blind Fabrics
Blockout fabrics provide full privacy by blocking out sunlight. Ideal for blocking out heat and UV rays, they also provide insulation for your home. Blockout fabrics come in a wide range of colours and textures which can be used for a single roller blind or co-ordinated with a Sunscreen or light filter fabric in a double roller blind application. Textured fabrics are available in both light filtering and blockout. Textured fabrics are a refreshing option inspired by our natural environment. Textured fabrics come in a range of colours and textures which can be used for a single roller blind or co-ordinated with a sunscreen, light filter or blockout fabric in a double roller blind application. Pelmets
Pelmets are a stylish option to cover the heading (top) of your custom made roller blind. Ideal for use where the blind is placed on the outside of the window frame or in combination with the double roller blind as the pelmet covers the brackets. Available in 3 pelmet colours, you can co-ordinate a matching or contrasting blind fabric to be inserted into the pelmet. All pelmets are custom made to fit your window requirements.

Motorised Roller Blinds

We can also arrange to have your custom made roller blinds motorised. Choose from battery operated or hard wired motorised options.
Motorised blinds offer a convenient way to control your window coverings as a whole room can be controlled with one action saving you time. This also eliminates chain controls hanging beside the blind and is ideal for rooms where blinds are high up on a wall above arms reach. Motorisation can also reduce wear and tear by eliminating pulling on chains and controls.
Motorised blinds can be controlled by a hand held remote or a wall mounted panel which can be operated by the push of a button or linked to a home management system in conjunction with a timer. Blinds set to a timer can assist with home security. Improve energy savings and protect against UV damage by the use of a sun sensor that will close your blinds automatically.
